Ewan and Cav (hahaha) dropped on the first climb. Demare gets his first victory of the season. Nice FDJ train moved him up perfectly.

Giro Spoiler Discussion

What about the bike was sh#t? Did he miss a shift or what specifically?

Never mind, found it on CN. His lead out dropped a chain and he was stuck in a lower gear. So, sh#t components, then.

Colnago with Campy? This forum has led me to believe that combination should ascend directly to the right hand of Saint Eddy himself. Or is it that he has more than 7 cogs ?

UAE said someone hit Gaviria's rear derailleur and it got bent and wasn't shifting properly, and he was pissed because he believed he had the legs to win, but couldn't cause his bike was f-ed.

BX has done a lot of upgrading this season plus a lot more aero work on yates.
Equipment is more aero, better tech all around and $3500 skinsuit.
Yates built confidence and all that combined, a fantastic win for him

It's even more holy than that when you have campy on a Bianchi.

The real problem according to inside sources is that he wasn't using down tube shifters

Is he a fan? He's handing out a bottle and a musette? Not a team staffer?
