Rocket are from Milan. Stelbel in neighbouring Bergamo. Both make beautiful products crafted by hand. Coffee and cycling are synonymous. Perfectly natural collab to me. Like, makes total sense.

This 100% I cannot believe this is what a five-figure bike looks like today. Matte black with some decals? I'll take the most over the top airbrushed Colnago over this. I don't doubt it rides great, but it feels like there's a race to the bottom to see who can build the most boring black bike these days.

I am so confused. Five figures? I don't mean to sound like a shill, but the bike is 6625 EUR according to the web page, or 7228.80 USD

Alternately, there are mediocre bikes from boutique builders with killer paint jobs that catch fire on digital media and people ooooh and ahh.

Weird dichotomy.

tho this might be accurate

Not that special to me at least. And yes boring black. Black does not have to be boring but this one is imo. And the decals look bit meh.

But to each their own, every hand make bike sold is still a + in my book .)

What a beauty; but even more than that—the geometry is just perfect for me. Want!

Doesn't really matter that the bike is nice and the coffee maker is nice...

For all but a very very few people this is like having a bike branded Michelob Ultra.. AKA not as nice as an unbranded one.

It's way sillier than the Rapha version of the Rocket coffee maker.. that one sits in your house, this one becomes a rolling advertisement for a coffee maker.

That said, there are plenty of relationships in bicycles that seem to work. There are also plenty of cycling race and commuting fans.

Rocket has partial sponsorship of UCI pro teams.
Walmart owns neither company.

Well, OK, but they are both owned by holding companies owned by the Waltons and are based in Bentonville.
