Just got back from Grinduro PA. It was a great event, although definitely closer to mountain biking than gravel. There were a few real single track sections, although my Diverge handled it fine.

We camped on site, had the meal plan, and really enjoyed it!

I honestly feel this way about most "gravel" events now. Gravel has almost become the new XC. I use my rigid mtb for northeast gravel events; Farmers Daughter had plenty of single track this year. Let's not get started on something like Keystone Gravel or when Middle Creek was still a thing. I even ran the mtb single speed for muddy versions of LandRun / Mid-South and it was perfect..no derailleurs to break lol.


Back to the OP...good thread. I'm looking for a new group of events that I havent hit yet. Need some must-do's to add to my list.
