Compact handlebar question.

Hi guys/ gals

Looking at getting a new set of bars. I'd like to get a compact bar with as little drop as possible. But I'm looking for a bar where there's internal routing. I looked at the 3t ergonova, but it seems to lack internal routing. Any suggestions?

You will likely not find aluminum handle bars with internal routing. At least not anything made in the last 15 years. The bars are too thin to drill without making them unsafe. You may have better luck with carbon bars.

+1 for the K Wing Compact. Love the flat tops, short reach and shallow drop. No internal routing but never notice the cables.

Well. My father has the Fsa wing. And it's okay.

They do make an alum compact handlebar. The Pro Vibe 7s compact has internal cable routing, I still really like the 3t supernova but can't stand that it doesn't have internal.

You could get crazy and pick up a Cinelli RAM bar/stem...totally unwieldy but they were amazing (and this graphics they set the team up with were awesome as well) http://www.bikerumor.com/2010/10/04/...lli-and-rapha/

Lol.
I actually have a Cinelli Carbon bar right now. Without a doubt the best bar I've ever used. It's got so many positions and is so comfortable.....just wanted to try something new.

I do really like these two ram bars
Just so expensive.

If the Rams were your jam, then I'd give serious consideration to the Bontrager bars, I found their VR-C bend to be fairly similar (though I don't think they're non-aero style handlebars allow for internal routing)
