Best news I've heard all week! I'll be there hopefully all three days. Eric, I rode an STBC event last night in Sidney led by David Wells who said he knows you. I told him about Dirtphalt, that I wasn't sure about this year (hadn't seen this yet) but I will let him know that it's on!

Here are initial thoughts on Dirtphalt 2022:

Friday we will do a late afternoon ride from Canadarago Lake. Tentative start 3:30 pm. 90-120 minutes, with a couple of challenging climbs but keeping it short enough so we are still fresh for the rest of the weekend.
BBQ/pot luck dinner to follow. Bring food/drinks to share, bring your family.

Saturday is the New Lisbon Gravel Grinder. Premiere quality dirt road riding, with terrain as good as any you’ve ridden in the Northeast, in a much smaller group format than Deerfield.
Please register if you haven’t already.

Sunday, morning ride from our place in Hartwick. We will probably start at the Town Hall to avoid the end of ride slog up the East Hill.
We can finish off the Friday leftovers afterwards and have people coming from afar home at a decent time Sunday afternoon.

I will get details out soon with addresses and phone numbers etc. to all interested. Let me know in this thread or via PM.

I'm already registered for the NLGG and look forward to seeing Paceline friends and making new acquaintances!

Not sure yet about the rest of the Dirtphalt weekend since I already have several busy weekends in October. I plan to compete at the Drops to Hops race the following weekend and be back in Cooperstown the last weekend in October for my 40th high school reunion. I haven't spent three weekends of a month in Cooperstown since 1982!
