Any issues? Or communication that would lead you to believe he’s a scammer?

I get zero posts, but been a member for a while, could be a lurker that just came out of his hole... curious if there is more to the story.

That said, always good to be cautious. 😀

that would have been quite the commitment, 7 years of silence to scam something.

I didn’t even try to go any further with a transaction. When I saw zero posts, I stopped right there.

Just a heads up. Even in the buyers feedback thread, there is no mention of the users name either.

Nothing you say indicates he's a scammer. If there was no issue, I don't see why it should be posted in this thread.

There's a separate thread concerning "0 posts" members.

0 Post thread

I thought that the two threads are related... one specifically about the 0 post users bring potential scammers.

I’m not sure this member deserves being labeled as a potential scammer for just responding to a wtb if he/she has been a member for 7 years. Just my thoughts

Careful of this guy, we made a $75 deal for an EDGE stem he advertised and after sending him money FF Paypal he has dropped off the face of the earth. He is a student at Pima Community College in Tucson. I am an attorney and am reporting him to his college and the Tucson Police. On general principle, I'm also going to file a small claims action against him so I can provide a service to the community and register and collect on a judgment that will include the original principal, as well as filing and service fees. I hate deadbeat scumbags.

i am curious, as an attorney what you cited as your justification for using F/F payment option to purchase an item when paypal is clearly set-up to collect a fee specifically to purchase items?

not putting you on the spot specifically, but you could have saved all that work and headache if you had used the proper paypal service which would have cost a few bucks for the protection.

i have said time and time again here, dont send people you dont know payment to purchase items vie friends and family.
