IMDB shows only purchases (I was given a DvD as a gift)--but it used to be available on YouTube. There is also a French TV program where the director, Claude Lelouch is interviewed about making the film, which also used to be on YouTube.

Fun fact: while the audio is from a V12 Ferrari the camera was actually mounted on a Mercedes Benz 450SEL 6.9.

Late 80's Gene Hackman flicks (The Package, Bat 21, etc).

No idea why I remember them so fondly. Maybe because I was just sitting at home waiting for my life to START!

Well I am going to have to look for Rendezvous! You may be able to buy the DVD of Wages of Fear from Criterion Collection.

After the passing of Pelé, I was reminded of a film directed by one of the great directors, John Huston. It's one of his oddest films, Escape to Victory: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083284/. If you're a fan of movies and soccer, you may be interested in this. It's about a soccer match between Allied P.O.W.s and the German National Team during WWII. The script is not very good, and the plot is pretty silly, but it's great seeing many of the soccer stars of the day, including Pelé (who had retired a few years earlier).
