11-36 on Campy 11: Believe! (or is this nuts??)

That rear derailleur looks crazy in the big big.... but a 50/34 11-36 gearing option would be amazing!

I tried this and did not work for me without a road link (and I was doing 46/34). And then with the road link it shifted just ok, was fine but not amazing.

I bet the new 12 speed stuff could easily go 36t (they do 34t) but there is no 36t cassette for 12.

I've been running a 11-34 Shimano cassette with no issues at all. Haven't tried 11-36, but am wondering if perhaps changing to a SRAM cassette make any difference? I don't see how it could but???

11-34 worked fine for me too but 11-36 was a no go on that bike. I was using mid cage athena rd.
