Brown is such a difficult color.
Even the brown team (beautiful and elegant kit colors, imo) doesn't ride brown bicycles.

Here's my wife's Comare commuter. Not a true brown, more of a plumb'ish brown.

The top bike would be my style. A little darker with cream panels. I think the problem with brown is that it doesn't scream "fast."

I had a brown univega nuevo sport and a miyata 610 and both were smooth as the chocolate sauce they both resembled

There's a reason it's not very popular. Though I loved the Calfee root beer color option.

Love em. I had a metallic brown Ritchey P-20 Team that was killer.

I miss that bike

For some reason, I think the brown colored OPEN U.P. looks great.

I’m thinking brown on CX and MTBs but not so much on road bikes, although that Wilier cromovelato is stunning. That being said, I do have a root beer brown Paramount P–13 that looks pretty cool. I think I like it because it reminds me of the 70s in an avocado green/root beer brown/harvest gold sort of way.

The most beautiful brown (with cream) bicycle I ever saw was this Pegoretti Luigino, but it really is more an ox-blood color. Very beautiful in person.

He did do a straight brown ("Conn"/Rust-Yellow); not my cup of tea.

it is an abomination....both the color and the bike. But, it has a dynamo light and I don't have to take care of it all that much.
