Any word on clearance? I'm thinking full Record 12 for a new build, but last time I checked, only Chorus (not made in Italy) had increased clearance.

I was looking at those, but decided to give these a try for the early season rides on slightly rougher roads (coming down from 38mm GKs)

Reminds me I need order a good(great) set of torx keys. Tried a Bondhus set but the tolerances were not too good, so I had to return em.

I bought an S&S coupled Merlin a couple weeks ago, and most of my purchases have been for the build. ENVE cockpit/seatpost to mirror my 3 Moots, and a few SRAM eTap bits to round it out. When I build a bike, as long as the component is intended for the project, I consider it one purchase. Makes it easier for me to fudge the math and ignore just how much I'm spending.

Other than consumables (chains and the like), I did buy a few cheap bibs from The Black Bibs to use on the trainer. I used to retire my old bibs to the trainer, but the ones I had left were getting thin. I've been doing a lot more trainer rides because of work for the last year and a half, so my road kit wasn't wearing out as fast. The Black Bibs do well enough for me on the trainer, saving the good stuff for when I actually get back to sweet, sweet pavement.
