Question for Di2 experts

I have a Trek Emonda SLR9 with Di2 and 9070 derailleurs and want to convert this to a flat bar bike. Will the XTR Di2 SW-M9050 shifters work with this setup? I want to use a left and right shifter for symmetry.

Any help would be appreciated before I start ordering parts.

Yes, I really want a flat bar set up. I want a carbon version of this Firefly but I have no idea of how they accomplished this.

They look to be using Paul’s levers and no obvious shifters. My guess is they may be using the auxiliary sprint/climbing shift buttons and have them tucked somewhere.

That is what I was thinking. I tried searching for other photos to confirm but couldn't find any.

Thanks to both of you for your insight.
