If you're saying enduring these stages is the price we have to pay to keep money in the sport, that's okay, but it sure sounds like a concessions that those stages aren't entertaining.

Typical Sky/Ineos MO all Roglic had to do was mark G until the time trial, even SRAM couldn’t stop him.

You forget that even just yesterday Roglic gained time on Thomas?

In addition to daily stage winners, the organizers also introduced other competitions to maintain fan interest, including the points (green) jersey, the mountains (polka dot) jersey, and the best you rider (white) jersey. Maybe you're only interested in GC, but there's a lot more going on than that.

I gotta wholeheartedly disagree, I find the stages with breaks way more entertaining, each day it's a whole new cast of characters (or Derek Gee) battling it out for glory and trust me there are no gifts, those wins are earned the hard way, and provide new drama every day, think about the Healey 50k attack or the battle between Pinot and Cepada (which they both lost) etc...I find that way more fun to watch then if we would just have Thomas, Roglic and Alamada being the top 3 on every mountain stage.

You're right, I forgot about those 3 seconds. My apologies, there were two non-tt stages with time differences.

I was thinking how boring the Giro has been and the course really sucked, but then I watch Primoz do this and it made my day.
He so deserved to win this.

I too enjoyed the poetry of Primoz winning after the 2020 Planche de Belle Filles TT. Amazing ride, and I'm glad he left no doubt, and also that GT was solid. No one can say that anyone choked or if this, if that. Primoz went and took it, fair and square.

When he had that chain drop, I couldn't help but think of those 3 bonus seconds that Cort took off him yesterday.

Perfect send off for Cav!

I do have to say, it look like an easy sprint though, i am not saying that they gave him the win, but even the GCN crew were joking about the “photo” finish and how easy he took it

It was a movie ending, I’m glad for Cav. You should’a heard my wife screaming, urging Cavendish on as the sprint developed and he wound up for the finish.

Thomas leading out Cav was one of the highlights of the entire season so far.
