That Marbella 27.5x2.25 looks awesome, but it's not tubeless ready?

I can't imagine why any company is spending any time or resources creating new tires wider than, say, 30c, that aren't tubeless compatible. Let alone a full on MTB-sized tire.

Yeah, I agree completely. Bizarre. That said, at that size I'm inclined to think it would work out just fine setup tubeless. I'd like to try it for some uses, but probably not if it weight 600g+.
