well I might actually get a chance to work on it this weekend- still not totally set as to which way to go but I rode a 105 equipped bike around the block the other day and it does have nice ergonomics for my big mitts

and the verdict is......(after a long deliberation and longer build time...) is 11 speed
really happy I went with new 11 speed

It's a 56 - Really like the ride - kinda got me excited to ride again...been on a loooong layoff. It's definitely more upright position (which is fine by me) but still felt pretty snappy even for my out-of-shape physique
