*Real Name: Patrick

*Where do you live? Houston

*Explanation of your forum handle: It's a gamertag I use. It's sort become my handle on everything. I don't really have a solid answer as to why it is what it is, but it is.

*Explanation of your avatar: I guess I oughta get one of those.

*Age (General or specific): I'm 23

*Occupation: Bike mechanic / Student

*How did you find the Paceline? One of the guys at the shop I work at is on here a lot. Figured it was worth checking out.

*Favorite Bike: That's really hard. I've got an Anchor NJS bike that I'm awfully proud of, though.

*What’s in your stable?
My Anchor, obviously.
An All-City Thunderdome
A Bianchi Pista that I use for class and locking up around town.
Cinelli Experience for srs rides
Cinelli Mash SSCX for gettin' rad
and an 80's Bianchi Brava that I put some Nitto Bosco's on for lazy day comfort.
I'll end up posting pictures of all these things soon I'm sure.

*Fastest speed on your bike? Where? When? Pretty fast, I imagine. I ride a lot but I'm not always clocking it. No garmin, no rules or whatever. haha.

*How many miles did you ride last year? probably like 3-4,000

*Picture of yourself, your ride, or both together: I'll edit this in. hang tight.

*Tell us something fun: I took a trip to Portland 2 years ago to attend some classes at UBI, if y'all are familiar. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had and it really helped get me as into bikes as I am. Plus I get to tell people I'm a certified mechanic now, which definitely hasn't hurt me with finding jobs turning wrenches.
Anyway, if anyone here is thinking about taking a trip to UBI I'd be happy to answer any questions about it. Nice to meet y'all. This just feels like the start of something beautiful.

Okay sorry.

Editing it in totally failed me, so here is my cross bike. I'm feeling a bit wistful for the trail lately, Houston has been flooded out for a good 2 months. All of my local trails are kayaking routes for now.

I just joined up on Sunday. My odd user name is a conglomeration of the job I used to have, a job, I hated. You can figure that the S in the name stands for "sucks", and you'd be right. My name is Rick, and I live in southeastern Va. There are no mountains, here, just mostly flat land, but I can ride about 20 miles and hit some pretty hilly portions in surrounding counties. I ride a Titanium Lemond Tete De Course. I own a Bike Friday Pocket Rocket, a Trek 1400, and a Fuji mountain bike. I am mainly a long distance rider and have done many long distance endurance events. I am retired, and at the age of 69, I have gotten a little slower on the bike, but I still have fire left in my legs, and I refuse to give up and sit on the couch for the rest of my life. Sorry, I don't have any pictures of myself, but if I did, you would see a skinny old man.

I mostly lurk here, but I'll play.

*Real Name (first or full - up to you) Drew
*Where do you live? NYC
*Explanation of your forum handle. Randomly generated user ID that was assigned to me many years ago on my first day of college.
*Explanation of your avatar. Gustaaf Van Slembrouck smoking a cig while racing a bike. How anachronistic is that?
*Age (General or specific). No longer a spring chicken, but not quite over the hill
*Occupation. Workin' for the man (or not workin' while posting here, more accurately).
*How did you find the Paceline? The Googles brought me here.
*Favorite Bike. Cinelli Supercorsa SLX.
*What's in your stable? 1985 Cinelli Supercorsa SLX, 1986 Peugeot PSN-10, 1986 Bianchi Pista (not intentionally clustered around the mid-Eighties, but there you have it), 1972 Motobecane Le Champion townie conversion (odd Seventies outlier). Currently on the hunt for a Nineties-era (or Nineties-ish, if we're including the late-Eighties or early-Aughts) bike with indexed shifting and brake lever shifters (egads! technology!).
*Fastest speed on your bike? Where? When? No idea, but I beat the food delivery guys and commuters on Citibikes with ease.
*How many miles did you ride last year? No idea. Somewhere in the vicinity of 3000 miles, if I had to ballpark.
*Picture of yourself, your ride, or both together.

*Make up an answer to at least one additional question. Steel is.

*What is the biggest lie you ever told? This is my last bike, I swear.

*Tell us something fun. velofinds.com is my blog.
