Favorite discontinued cycling product

What's your favorite discontinued cycling product?

Mine might be the 1up USA CPR-A2000 trainer.

I hadn't used mine in a while, but wanted to do a FTP test, so pulled it out of the basement last night. Greased the balls, mounted the bike up, and it's just as smooth and quiet and perfect as it ever was. Just a great product. Light, well-engineered, user-serviceable. I know smart trainers are all the rage, and surely it didn't make sense to continue it... but boy, it is a great trainer.

Same trainer. Mine is second hand. Mine has a grove on the roller from the tire wearing it down. I reached out to the company and they no longer make parts either. I liked the simplicity of the trainer. Not everything needs to be fancy electronics. Funny thing is I use it over my other trainer that is electronic. I think as I get old I just want things simple.

I agree - this Sigma computer does everything the Avocet 50 did, plus more. Like the Avocet, it is wired, but unlike the Avocet, it uses a single battery instead of two, and the battery lasts more than a year (the Avocet 50 was a battery eater, and needed new batteries several times a year).

There are other similar Sigma computers that are wireless. This requires an extra battery for the speed sensor (and another for a cadence sensor if used), but makes installation quicker and cleaner.
