A friend in the industry was looking to buy from them for a build and was told no groups were in stock.

i believe campy underestimated how popular subcompact gearing has become and they may well see how well these chorus subcompacts sell. that may pave the way for other similar offerings in the years to come.

I found a 48/32 with 172.5 arms on eBay, sold by 365 cycles. I've bought from them in the past. Only $322.

subcompact a couple years ago and now
I
https://www.ebay.com/itm/SUGINO-OX2-...EvMecgBTS8ZkTA This subcompact crankset works well with Campy 11 shifters and Campy Potenza RD and rear cassette to make any climbing feasible.

Fatter chain and rings a little closer together means you 'may' have some big ring 'tickle' when in small ring and smallish cogs but sure, it'll work.

Bought one from 365cycles
I just bought a 12 speed 175 mm 48/32 Chorus crankset for $321.69 from 365cycles on eBay. Delivery is scheduled for Friday. The funny thing is that this same crankset cost $360.32 on the 365cycles website. I contacted them to offer to purchase the crankset from them for the eBay price, which would be a win for both of us, as they wouldn't have to pay the eBay commission on the sale. They declined, so I hit the eBay offer.
