Shimming centerlock rotors

I'd like to get the rotors on my 700C wheels to be in the same alignment as the ones on the 650B wheels so I don't need to fuss with the calipers when swapping. I can find shims by November Wheels - a pack of four 0.25mm shims is $16.00, and shims by Cat3Bits - a two pack of 0.5mm shims is $12.21 plus shipping from the UK.

Any feedback on either, or other suggestions? The ones from the UK look cool, not that one will see them once mounted!

Thanks!

I used the November shims (bag of 4) on my CLD Boyd wheels. They work just fine. I only had to shim the back wheel to make it match with my 6 bolt WI XMR wheelset.

You might check an LBS. CLD shims have more uses than CLD.

I found these too, but then figured out that these seem to be washers used between lockring and hub. ID is 31mm, whereas the shims need to be >35mm to pass over the portion of the hub that the rotor slips onto.

Saw these mentioned in a weightweenies post - basically the same sort of idea, just way cheaper:

I took a 0.5mm cassette spacer, Dremeled a cut so it could be sprung over the splines, and it worked perfectly.
