For some reason, I always thought it's a crime against humanity to put paint on just about any bike that Dave built.

I wish I could get DK to build me a stainless steel midreach brake fork for my ti Hampsten SB. That would be awesome.

Is there a frame coming with this fork??

Yep and it will be and be just as shiny to provide contrast with the glossy black Grand Cru midreach brakes.

the top tube connects to the head tube and the head tube connects to the downtube, and so on and so forth.

Hmmmm. I don't know. Those fillets may need some stress testing. Change delivery address to my shop and I'll do the final QC. Please remit payment to D Kirk as normal.

That fork looks like it was magically forged out of one block of shiny steel. As Clean says, it’s truly a work of art.

I’ll admit I have not been a fan of the curvy stays, but they are growing on me. Can’t wait to see the finished product.

I'm not a fan of some curved tube treatments but I have been a fan of terraplane stays since I first saw them. This looks to be what I'd order, with fender mounts.
