Bib tights on amazon
Anyone have any recs for the cheaper (no-name) ones? I have plenty for colder temps, need some stuff for the 35-45 degree range. With or without pad.
If you have links, that would be helpful - THX! |

I don't know man, are you that hard up for cash?
Buy from a known cycling brand, not the disposable junk that comes from Amazon for cycling kit. Look at neopro or theblackbibs or any number of great black friday deals about to hit. Just a thought. Edit: Sorry for the grump. We order a lot of Amazon stuff as a family, and most of the generic stuff has just been absolute garbage and i'm fighting to keep it minimized.

Sorry, this is where I've learned to NOT make this kind of post. Thanks for your (unwanted) opinion in this case. Maybe delete the post as it does not help.

Bib tights
Big fan of the (reasonably priced as they are always on “sale”) Gore bib tights. They are not super super snug FYI. But I do appreciate their wide bib-straps. So far I have had luck with their “C3” tights which are probably good down to the 40s/high 30s. For the mountains this winter I got a pair of their “C5” tights which are considerably burlier. Let’s see how they do! Good luck and agree with Angry that there are many options out there to consider.

I’d post a WTB here.
Folks (just like me) buy stuff and realize 2-3 yrs later they’ve only worn it once… so time to pass it on. Get a 50% or more discount off MSRP. Come to think of it, think I’ve got one I need to dig out…

Irks me when I read replies like that - totally unnecessary and rude (unless you guys are friends and banter like this often). |

Odd that Angry's post was perceived as "rude" - reads to me like a helpful word of caution to not buy something that ends up being dog sh-t quality. If you're determined to buy junk, just scroll past it.

I have bought cheap bib tights on amazon - a brand called Przewalski and Santic.
The problem is that their pad has seams that are a little rough and on longer rides, if you don't use enough cream, it can cause issues "down there". I have ended up buying some Pearl Izumi and Castelli bibs that work much better down there. |

I'll second a recommendation for the black bibs - been very happy with the stuff I've used, I think it hits a good intersection between quality/durability and cost. |

would also like a rec for a cheaper pair of bib tights.. and also not looking to spend a lot.. I've been pretty lucky with Amazon jerseys (needed a couple of cheap ones when I moved here until my stuff arrived)..

In this case I'm actually looking for thinner tights that are "disposable" for a certain reason - I don't feel the need to get into that. BTW, I have some pieces of clothing that are what was described as disposable garbage that have far outlasted some of the (overpriced) crap I've purchased from name brands. Thanks to the 1 poster who actually answered what I was asking for. |

Sorry. Was trying to be helpful, not give a lecture.
Hope you find something that works for you.

I have heard good things about Przewalski and have a pair that I think are these:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CSYGLNJ6...kZXRhaWwy&th=1 Very much worth the price. I wouldn't use on my longest or coldest day. But for a 2-3 hour training ride in moderately cold temps, I use all the time. Read the reviews (take them with a grain of salt), pay attention to sizing, and there are some deals to be had out there. There is definitely a use-case when products like these are needed. |

Bought these about a month and half ago on a whim. Posted it on my team's Whatsapp channel and several others have bought them too. Everybody likes them. No issues they still look new after several washings and the chamois is very nice too.
