Recommendations for good inexpensive sleeveless baselayer?

I've been using same brand/model of sleeveless baselayer for years, Sugoi I think is the brand, since at the time I bought a ton of em by luck on closeout. They were just the right balance of fit, fabric weight and at a great price . It's time to replace, as they're getting tired and destined for the rag bag.

Got any suggestions for a reasonably priced, lightweight sleeveless baselayer? I have no clue who makes what these days on that kind of item, and would appreciate your specific experience & suggestions. Thx.

Uniqlo Airism Micro Mesh Tank Top (or V-Neck Sleeveless). Ultra lightweight. About $15. I like Craft, too, but Uniqlo is less than half the cost.

How do the lengths run on them?

Several years ago I picked up a few Uniqlo winter-oriented baselayers (thermal tops, really) on the advice perhaps here or another bike website and after taking a pair of scissors to the arms and waist, just to get the sizing right, I had to laugh. Made for a good, if not pricey, grease rag.

Their website's sizing chart lists 27 1/6 inches for body length back in a medium. I just measured mine at 27 inches, which is just slightly shorter to my Craft short sleeve. I find the underarm width, though, to be markedly " "snugger" to Craft. I have the Uniqlo lightweight Heattech (winter lightweight) in medium and it is shorter in the back(they list 28 1/3 inches and I measured 27). If you are long and lanky, these might not be for you.

For inexpensive, I have one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JPZDVRP...XY5?th=1&psc=1

Very good, especially for the price. I like my Gore base layers better, but it is 3 times the price. I happily wear this when Gore is dirty and will likely buy more in the future.

I still use some older Santini mesh tank base-shirts. They work very well, and have lasted a long time. Same thing for DeFeet. but the Santini mesh is more open, cooler.

I actually really like the under armor sleeveless heat gear base layer. I think you can get them for about $25.
