Yates, Bernal, and Pinot for the podium. I'm going to say Yates on the top step. I'd like to see Bardet or Uran, but they have yet to show any form this year.

i'll go with the unlikely opinion and say that this is porte's year to shine.

no pressure, and as an aussie he probably knows how to deal with the heat.

The conspiracy theories about Froome's injuries say it was a hoax and he's actually been suspended by the UCI.

So, naturally, the suspension is overturned next week and he wins.

If not, I want a French winner.

Gotta mention, this is for a bet i have with a local guy..each pick..the one that finishes the highest, wins..I picked Yates for the Giro..he had Nibali..oh well...Yates was a disappointment in the Giro....

This thing was ideal for TD , crazy legs froome is not there either. Thomas is tough nails so he should be right there.

Other GC guys have really bad teams or they can't TT.

So... my picks...

Thomas... Nibali... Woods... URan... (TJ not there because he cant do 3 weeks stuff)... You cant discount Valverde but he is in WC course so who knows... Yates if he doesnt deflate again.

No young colombians and no quintana more than nothing because they can't TT at all. And sure nairo will go as a plan be after Valverde. If valverde wins this thing would be epic tho, just dreaming. NO french riders pick for me, they cant TT.

I think this could be one of the more interesting TDF in recent years to watch. Let's see what happens.

How about Qunitana? He may be able to pull it off?

What about Vincenzo? Put an Italian on the podium!

I would love this. That guy has been through so much.

I think it's going to be Bernal though. Ineos/Sky has their process down pat.
