LEGEND by Bertoletti now in the US!

Marco Bertoletti, owner & head of production at LEGEND, occupies a special position in the world of cycling. He has been hand building frames in Italy now for more than 38 years. In 2009 he introduced his own brand, “LEGEND by Bertoletti” into which he put all of his experience, passion and innovation to create what we believe are the world’s leading frames and bicycles. Today, he produces a complete line of custom road and mountain bikes designed and fitted to your individual needs.

Marco is a rare breed who believes in clear and concise values. His open factory approach to his business is unique and he is happy to demonstrate the experience of his craft with his customer, sharing the journey from frame design to final finish.

We take great pleasure in presenting the new extended product range for 2014. Only the very best primary materials are used in the manufacture of LEGEND frames and bikes, including Titanium, Carbon, Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel – along with components by Campagnolo and Miche, to provide a range that will satisfy any customer's most exacting demands.

All LEGEND frames and bikes are hand-made in their own factory in Italy, by expert craftsmen, using the best technologies and equipment to produce a personalized, hand-finished masterpiece.

I wonder how long before Serotta takes legal action against the use of the name Legend for a bike.

Congrats on bringing them stateside. I was back and forth with them for months and was really close to ordering an HT7.5 or a prince. They were great to deal with and I think they can be successful on this side of the pond.
I think they have a great deal of experience in Tube-tube construction and make a really nice looking, understated product. I haven't ridden one, so I can't comment, but they get great reviews. Tough competition in that segment with Sarto, Formigli, Cyfac etc. Not to mention all the crop of US builders now.

Good luck

Marco Bertoletti is a name that doesn't get anwhere near enough recognition in the U.S.

I really like the looks of the Queen. Not sure which came first, the Queen or the Passoni XXTi (and the relationship between Bertoletti and Passoni is confusing), but both pre-date the IF Ti Factory Lightweight. The tapered ti headtubes on the Legends and the Passoni are works of art.
