Flood in the final sprint

Saw this today and thought I'd share it. Pretty crazy racing conditions.

The riders just plowed into the water....surprised no one even tried to slow or move.

+1 They could have at least cleared the curbside drains.

The journalist blames the cyclists. They signed up for a clear course, and it's common for a race to be held in rain even at the amateur level. It's up to the organizers to make sure the course is clear of obstacles or at least have a marshal at the hazard with a whistle.
