Di2 shifters need more comfort
Do you find Di2 shifters uncomfortable? I have Ultegra 11 speed 3 years old. I have been using Record or Super Record 95% of the time in the last year except this past weekend I rode 97 miles over 2 days in the MS event in SoCal. I felt like I needed extra padding on the hoods. After 80 miles riding over some bumpy streets was painful.
Perhaps later generations are better? Apologies if this has been discussed ad nauseam. |

The rim brake di2 shifters are narrower than I would prefer. This isn't an issue with the disc brake shifters. I haven't tried the 12-speed rim brake shifters, so you might need a new bike frame.

Can't say I've noticed the shifters (at the hoods I'm assuming) on any bike, whether it's SRAM, Shimano, Campy or Tektro/TRP, other than muscle memory and some minor preferential differences that disappear after the first 5 minutes. Perhaps a bike fit is in order?
The 11-speed GRX Di2 shifter has a totally different shape and a high brake pivot design similar to Campy, which should be an easy direct swap if you're willing to experiment. |

I have disc brakes. It's a Canyon Endurance. I love the bike as it does just what I need for a long ride. |

You sure it's not just a matter of adjusting for a better fit?
