Ti seatpost in 31.6 with setback

Anyone know who makes one?? Seems most of the handbuilt community only makes 27.2.

PMP seems to make one but haven't been able to find one in stock in the states

Bold Precision will build to order and the diameter reduction on such a large Ø post is a huge bonus.

342 grams for the ti cycles one. Thats not really great value at 210$ imo.

Setback in 31,6mm is not easy to find.

Muru Cycles make a nice one (curved like Moots/Eriksen) in 31,6 x 20mm setback, but like PMP are only available via direct order (the PMP is 14mm setback).

I cannot recall if Wittson Cycles made/make their own titanium seatposts but it is easy enough for you to ask them, and they are very nice people.

Well, sure. And at 31.6 you're probably not getting the ride quality benefit from Ti like you would in a smaller diameter.

perhaps true also. I was just suprised someone made a ti post that weighed that much.

Ti Cycles are not really a weight weenie company ever.
More important here, their 31,6 seatpost has only 10mm setback.

I've spent some time cursing about seatposts lately in my garage. Broke an old Dura Ace aluminum post last week. It was only about 25 years old, so I shouldn't be too upset. The replacement post I chose is "meh".

What makes a Ti seatpost desirable?

I bring PMP posts into the US. I have more on the way this month. I also stock USE Sumo posts. This have a setback as well. They claim 10mm setback. I've measured it closer to 15mm.

I have one of these in the 27.2mm size, but it also comes in 31.6mm:

The clamp mechanism isn't anything to write home about, but it holds the seat up just fine.
