Which torque wrench is this?

I know its likely super overkill for the home bike mechanic, but just out of interest, which brand/model is he using in this vid??

Thanks!

When he goes over "tools needed," there's a nice clear shot of the wrench. You can use Google image search to find it. Just drop a screen capture of the wrench into the Google text window.

When I do that, I get this Proto Electronic Torque Wrench Model J6346:

https://www.amazon.com/Proto-Elect-T.../dp/B000OLBOTQ

At $784.28, it would certainly be overkill pour moi...

I ordered my torque wrench from Amazon, about $50. It's a clicker and has enough range for all my bike applications except for a UT cinch bolt.

I'm guessing it's not that one, because 250 ft lbs would turn that bike into a taco.

But maybe a related 1/4" one.

Good catch! The picture on Amazon is wrong.

Here's what the 1/2" model looks like. Note the much longer handle:

Here's one of Proto's 1/4" wrenches (there are several with different ranges) that looks like what's in the video. Still bloody expensive:

I wonder if Enve has completely thought through what message it sends to show someone using a $600-700 torque wrench to install one of their products...

Interesting question. The people who don't know what a torque wrench is probably think that it's a sophisticated product and their on call mechanic should have one.

And those that do know will spend days reviewing the features and benefits of said torque wrench, comparing their experiences regarding three decimal point accuracy, the heft and feel of the handle, the...well, you know.
