Still 2-3 more weeks of waiting for my expected ship date. Didn’t have any my size in the model I ordered. Gives me time to decide between 29 or 27.5 wheels.

I never thought of that.. Makes sense.

It definitely requires more tension, but even with that, its not the super crisp shifting people are saying about campy 12. My 10 speed was much more predictable and crisp.

That was kind of my thought. I have two bikes I could switch them between. Both take 27.5+, but currently just have one set of I9 29 wheels.
Just trying to figure out if everyone has moved on from 27.5+ now days or not.

Did I miss if you said which Lynskey? Should I assume from your username we are talking MTN?

I Swap 700 and 650b between my old 29er and Carl Strong Allroad. The 29er I have come to dislike without the 27.5 wheels. They tool the truckiness outta the 29er.

I use the Strong in winter with the 47x650b usually. But this year I never took them off. Other CX and gravel oriented bikes getting all the love this season for me I guess...

Hah I had trouble sourcing a DT Swiss XDR conversion thru axle (not avail. until September) so said eff it and ordered a set of the new WTB Proterra Light 25 in 650b and a set of 47 Byways to go with it. Looks like that setup will be it for D2R2 if I get everything else done in time for the build. If not, I'll bring the Warbird.

I ordered a Livewire frameset. So boost mountain bike wheels.

Would love to see some photos of these builds...

i didn't pull the trigger, but almost did on an AR frame to replace my Salsa Warbird TI. Couldnt pull the trigger in time for the sale and wasn't 100% set on swapping bikes as i love my warbird so much...

Would be interested to see some builds of the road/gravel frames that were purchased...

I picked this up a couple years ago.

Changed to di2 and some fancy carbon wheels now.

I'll get an actual production build thread going in the gallery, but here's a teaser. Also love my Warbird ti, but it's time for a change. Told myself that I'd only replace it if another opportunity came along for another ti bike.

I rode with a friend this weekend for his first ride on his new GR300. He got the GRX 810 build with I9 wheels. Very impressive bike. Even more impressive when you consider the price.

I remember when I first saw the tubes on the Helix years ago and was only hoping for Lynskey to offer it with internal cable routing. When it finally happened, I bought my first Ti frameset, a Helix disc almost two years ago. So far, it has been the longest build I've ever kept and love everything about it.
Since I recently sold my SBC all-road, I had to take advantage of this sale and ended up ordering a Lynskey R500.

Somehow I want to see the color pallet on the couch pillow and throw on the bike...

I have Byways, I just got Pirelli Cints H, suggest you follow that lead instead of using Byways, unless all paved intended use.

@noseybody.

That would be pretty awesome actually. I intend on using the 650b's and Byways for hardpack and multi stuff. I have a set of Gravelkings on my 700c wheels for actual gravel.
