Speaking of old crankset, did anyone here ever get a Shimano Carbon crankset? If so, was it good?! I have never seen one and consider it to be vaporware...

Good Luck!

Serotta CRL - 57cm - $300.02

Serotta CRL - 57cm - $300.03

wheel size: 700C
bicycle frame material: steel
bicycle type: road
frame size: 57cm
make / manufacturer: Serotta
model name / number: CRL
wheel size: 700C
I'm letting my Serotta Colorado Legend frame go to a good home. This was the best model Serotta made in 1993. It's made of custom CCL Columbus tubing that has a really cool profile on the seat and down tubes.

The frame is 57cm center to center, square. There's a dent in the top tube from a previous owner. I've ridden the bike and had it checked out by Bill Davidson. It is not in a weight bearing location and is safe to ride. Comes with a Mavic mushroom headset and a Shimano bottom bracket.

I also had Shimano 10 speed Dura Ace components on it which I would be happy to sell along with the frame.

Asking $300 or best offer

Good Luck!
I had one; and I know of at least 3 other sets. Really nice cranks aside from the installation and removal tool and the silver bits on the chainrings.

..

I believe it’s all 2nd gen C-Record, with first gen C-record rear derailleur. Bike has very low miles (see brake track). Some scratches and paint blemishes from storage and shipping. Was on display at a bike shop in Santa Ana California for the last 20 years.

White leather grips and turbo saddle. Cinelli stem and bars. Torelli rims.

No lowball offers please.

Between the re-awakening of Ben's Gig, and CV-19 making bikes sell like hotcakes for folks wanting to live whilst social distancing...

And what better place to find fans than here really?

From a friend, John Siemsen velorosso at flash dot net
''Toei custom frame, fork, stem, front & rear racks, brake cable fittings, rear tail light, decalleur. Component listing in the Flickr album.

I acquired it from the original owner in 2011, it had less than 100 miles on it per the owner.

Size is traditional (old) randonneur fit, 58cm ctc seat tube, 55cm top tube.

Images came out cold, the color is a beautiful, deep flam red:

Thanks for looking. John in Portland, Oregon''
