Rock Lobster CX

Just got my Rock Lobster from Paul in Santa Cruz. The process was really smooth. I live nearby so went for measurement/discussion. He took my ideas and ran with them. The ride is amazing. Still need to put on a black seat post collar, cut the stem and ditch my commuting bag but love this bike so far.

Frame: Steel with paragon rocker dropouts
Fork: Enve Cx
Stem/Fork: Thomson
Handlebar: Shimano
Drivetrain/Brakes were a total Frankenstein but it works great:
WI crank/BB with a 38T ring
di2 XT rear derailleur
XTR cassette
9170 Dura Ace di2 shifters
XTR race calipers
My enve racing tubulars soon to be replaced with some clinchers for daily driving

I am very impressed with the new Shimano di2 levers. Very good tactile feel for shifting and brake well with the XTR calipers. They were hard to come by and I ended up ordering them from Europe as I couldn't find any easily in stock here. Highly recommend Rock Lobster and am planning to order a road frame from them once I unload some bikes from the basement.

Sick ride!

Digging the eclectic build - those XTR stoppers must be divine.
