Wahoo Elemnt mount for 1" steerer

I bought a Best Tek stem mount for my Wahoo Elemnt. It's designed to replace a 5mm spacer under the top cap. Several manufacturers make a similar product, but so far, I haven't been able to find one that is made for a 1" diameter steerer instead of a 1-1/8" steerer. Unfortunately, a 1" spacer is too big on the OD to nest within this product.

I'd also accept one that replaces the top cap and has the mating receiver in line with the steerer, but again, the products look as though they replace 1-1/8" top caps.

I don't want to use an out front mount because it will interfere with the handlebar bag on this bike.

Cut a traditional 38mm 1" to 1 1/8" stem shim down to 3mm and use a 1 1/8" top cap.

Take a look at something like the Bar Fly 4 MTB mount. Basically an out the front that’s backwards and puts you computer over the stem.
I use the garmin MTB mounts which are very similar and really like the design.

I could also flip an out front bar mount to face backwards - but it needs to fit 26.0 bar diameter. Any products come to mind?

I use Garmin mounts with o-rings, except rotated 90 degrees, and the tab slightly enlarged with an xacto knife. They still work for Garmin too.

This sounds dumb but the garmin mounts come with a rubber 26.0 adapter. I bought a used one from eBay just for that rubber adapter and the. Just used the wahoo mount that came with it...

$0.50 piece of rubber gasket cut to size has been working for me for years.

I ordered one of these to try, because it looks as though it has a flat bottom so may overlap the 1" stem but will work
