Well looks like I can't make the Farmer's Daughter or the Gentleperson ride.

Dang it.

Are you set for the route Nick? I made a short route leaving River road park in Far Hills/Peapack area yesterday that is about 50% dirt/gravel but under 40 miles in length. I am not sure if the train into Peapack runs on the weekend though.

He’s going to test out a route this weekend. Unfortunately, I already have an event Sunday.

Oh, you guys are in for a NJ treat.

Today was mid 50's - in February. Crazy. Short sleeves all around.

We've got the makings of a tremendous route here.

I hope you change the dates so I can come ahah

also, was about 53 up here but I was still all winter dressed. I do have a lingering cough so wanted to keep toasty but still, I always over dress and still cold.

i'm 70/30 at this point, purely contingent upon (1) race calendar and (2) baby emergencies

I agree! It is a nice little route. If I hadn’t flatted so many times it would have been a bit nicer, but all in all I was happy to be riding in shorts and short sleeves.

while that may have helped yesterday, there was definitely some weird voodoo going on inside of adam's tire. i have never seen someone flat that many times on a shortish ride. we literally used my spare tube and every patch i had, haha.

adam - i hope you were able to figure out what was going on there!

It is holding air right now with the current patch. That was more flats in one ride then I have had in at least two years!

I haven’t found anything strange going on with it, but haven’t had it out since. Definitely need to see what may have been causing the repeated punctures.
