It's an interesting look, but I'm sticking w my original plan...

this thing is cool Clean, I like it. I personally would leave it alone since it looks fine (and I know you going to go through all this work and then prob sell it ) but I think painted fork green would look good. I normally would not like the yellow there but I actually do like it.

University of Oregon colors are clearly untenable. Strip it and paint some extravagant purple and gold design?

I'd lose the yellow accents in whatever manner possible . . .

go with full black or matching green fork, but would do something funky on the inside of the fork blades to get a design or color pop . . . subtle, yet unique. Zebra stripes kinda thing or a funky Colnago or Peg design . . . limited only by your imagination!

Another look for you. Refinished by Moots; no decals at my request. RSL fork, stripped and painted for me by Allan Wanta - no "MOOTS." Headbadge only, please.

Let's see if I can to some pics to work:

My vote is you take something totally unique and make it boring and normal by making look like every other moots in the world...

and of course i dont think you should do that. I'd paint the fork maroon or orange and make it a real stoner bike. some rasta chris kings blings.

or id have black magic match the fork to the bike, they are top of the game, im sure they can do it just fine.

And i would most certainly ride it first for lots of miles to make sure it was worth refinishing. I took a massive loss on my Weigle repainting it and then deciding i didn't even enjoy riding it that much and selling it

I wholeheartedly agree (), but the problem is that so many (all the sane ones) Moots owners/aficionados/lusters have been irrevocably scarred by that one painted Moots that tried to go completely the other way and be "the most uniquest painted Moots ever".

You know the one I'm talking about, and I'm a fairly nice guy sometimes, so I won't post it here in Clean's thread.
