Short, low profile rim brake pads?

Does anyone make a short, low profile rim brake pad, kinda like the Kool Stop thinline, only about 1.5 cm shorter?

Just curious - what's the goal?

I know some people just cut Thinline pads shorter for more clearance to remove the front wheel/tire from the fork.

i've cut 'em. i noticed no difference in performance post snip.
