Good tires that measure 25mm on boyd altamont

So I have a new frame that will not fit anything over 25mm comfortably. I got some vittoria rubinos that I was saving for this, 25mm but when in the rim they measure more liek 27mm. Well, they are about 1mm on each side on the stays.

So I need something that measures 25mm on the dot and on a wide rim, at least as wide as a boyd altamont lite

Building new bikes, always something new coming up

it would seem a reasonable guess that if 25c rubinos measure out to 27mm on your rims, 23c rubinos would measure out to 25mm?

you're probably upstate, but i have a ton of tires over here if you want to drop by one day/evening and test fit a bunch. i dont have any rims that wide or i would do it.

thanks for the offer Nick! I am indeed upstate but back in the city next week so if I can't get an answer for sure that is a sure fire way.

you don't happen to have a vittoria corsa g+ in 23 do you?

that is really the tire I want, I saw somewhere the 25 measures more like 27 so does the 23 measure 25?

As soon as I saw this thread I clicked on it to suggest the Veloflexes. You won't be sorry.

The answer is always gumwall.

My Lobster has brownwall Panaracers, but I'm going to switch to something with brighter sidewalls when they wear out, this Stelbel looks tops:
