Nice setup Sparky! What’s the geo on your ride?

How do the tires feel in terms of suppleness? What psi are you running for off-road?

Geometry...55 top tube, 4-5 bar drop, 7 bb drop, 71.8 ha, 43 cs.

The tires are supple yet durable, feels like a SBH with knobs, maybe 30 +/- psi.

Looks like nice geo for mixed condition and different wheel/tire sizes.

Good to hear about the Elwoods - that’s what I wanted to hear! I do some rough mixed condition races where I need the volume of a 48 and some tread for traction.

Sounds like the Elwood would do nicely for you. Riding Gravel wrote a thoughtful 3-part review on this tire.

I wish WTB would make the Resolute in this width too.

Curious of your thoughts on the Elwood versus Liteskin Thunderburt 2.1" (or whatever the lightest version is called) if you've tried that tire.

Just ordered at Set of Bontrager 27.5/2.0 XR0 tires. The advertised weight is 426grams. They are not advertised as tubeless though.

I received these and they measure 52mm on a Stans Crest rim. A little too wide for me, but if you can fit them, I think they'd make for a great gravel tire. The center knobs are very short, so they should roll very fast. The side knobs should offer a bit more confidence off-road much like the the Byways.

Sparky, can you post some thoughts on the Pumpkin? I can wedge 47's in there on my Chebacco, but just too close for comfort.
