Ot: "billions"

I love watching "BILLIONS", on Showtime, but I find the dialog sometimes impossible to follow. It's almost like they're speaking a foreign language and jumping all over the place, plot-wise. Is it just me or does anyone else feel this way? Just the same, I'm still intrigued and watch the show habitually. -Jeff N.

The same here. I like the show for the actors and the plot but the dialogue tries too hard now.
The first 2 seasons were better.

I would agree, seasons 1 and 2 were better. I don't have a hard time following it though. I usually watch while wrapping up work emails in the evening.

One more vote for first two seasons. The core conflict was most interesting. Moving further afield to sustain more seasons is diluting. That said, Taylor is a great character.

This last episode had me wondering what Teddy KGB is doing outside of Rounders. The conflict between Axe and Chuck had been great but this twist is meh at best.

Up until that point I was loving this serious but it has me wondering if I will make it to the end of the series.

I'm behind on my episodes - I usually binge off the Tivo weeks later than air date. I like the show but I haven't gotten too involved with this season yet but so far I like the twists and changes. We'll see what happens.

I think I'm partial to the show because I like the creators and listen to Brian Koppelman's podcast (The Moment) frequently.

Quit watching it after a few episodes this season. Lost interest. I liked the first two seasons.

I took financial engineering among other finance related courses so it’s not that hard to follow. My wife says she doesn’t get a lot of it though...

I like the show and the cast, followed Damian Lewis to it from Homeland. But it's hard to maintain plot continuity from week to week. Still I'm in it to the end.

Ah, but Axe lives on, as does Gail Boetticher.

Yep. Very interesting. Gave some new life. That may have been the first time I heard, "identifiy as non-binary and my PGP is ______". I live a sheltered life I guess. Had to google it.

Agree with others..great first 2 seasons but after Axe went to jail..next season ho-hum..streamed for us and $, so gonna pass after watching first 2 episodes. The whole S and M stuff seems out of place to me also.
