Lemond GAN bike...

I'm looking for better pics of this TT bike Lemond used with team GAN

Interesting concept, I suppose for an uphill TT, it sports a Mavic Cosmic carbon front wheel, Mavic G3 carbon tri-spoke rear wheel, Mavic Zapp shifter and a curved seat tube for a short wheelbase. I also think it sports the early SRM cranks but hard to tell from this pic...

Lemond was an innovator...

....as well as an exciting cyclist. He & his Dad had bikes sourced as 'Lemond' from a number of builders over the years. Same with experimenting on components.

Op- Are you interested in the frame or the setup? I have another front shot of that bike and have a side shot of it but can't find it. I do have another frame on the same day with that setup.

The frame and setup in the picture he used in practice that day. He opted to use a frame by Carbonframes (calfee) during the race. That frame only surfaced to the public during that practice run. He had tested it in the wind tunnel and training. It was made by Clark - Kent.

This one was for sale locally.
Not Greg's but from a sponsorized triathlon team.

Thanks for the side shot! From the picture in my OP I did not realize that it has a sloping top tube. I'm interested in both the frame and the setup, always been a big fan of Lemond and the variety of bikes and equipment he used in his days (see the Scott Drop-inn on my Merlin). Pics of the actual bike Lemond used in that practise run are most welcome!

From my memory it was basically just a Litespeed Tachyon, LeMond went to a modified Litespeed Ultimate after the initial Team Z Merlin's. My understanding was Clark•Kent made the suspended Roubaix bikes...the LeMond/Trek titaniums were made by Gary Helfrich...
