Crank up the heat, build some fitness.
When it's too hot, turn to this fan that has a super concentrated air flow stream and 3 fan settings.

This style from any number of folks, mine is Black and Decker. Coupled with a remote, its the bomb.

I'm currently riding for Team Fixed Income so I went down to the "Freight" This one is just like the one I got years ago for about 39 bucks with a coupon.

I adjust the elevation by using two small pieces of 1x3 under the legs. If I were going to do it again I'd probably get one similar but has the ability to rotate up or down. I have mine on the bottom shelf of an AV cart (like you see in schools) along with a small bookshelf stereo, wifi DVD player and a TV. It's on wheels and I can move it from the rollers to the treadmill depending on what I'm doing that day.

I'd post up a pic but the site won't allow direct uploads and I'm done with photo hosting after the Photobucket deal.

Unheated basement. It's amazing how hot you can get without a fan.

Good suggestions, thanks.

I used to set the rollers up on the back porch mid winter myself. But now I am using Zwift which is the only thing that can keep me focused on riding rollers any more. I did like setting up in the frigged cold and warming up but it jsut got too boring.

Funny you should mention that. When I lived in apartment, I had to schlep my rollers down 4 flights of stairs and across the parking lot to the exercise facility, so I could ride.

When they decided to replace the carpet in the exercise room sometime in February, I put my rollers in the parking lot next to my vehicle, and put a clock on the hood so I could see how long I was riding. It's amazing how warm you can get even in February. Clothing started coming off and steam rose from my skin, but the problem is the brake levers were still "February cold" so you had to wear gloves!
