Looking for an indoor exercise bike

So I had a coworker ask me about an indoor exercise bike and I really didn't have a good answer so i thought I would throw this out to the forum and see what you all are aware of or have tried.

The intended use is three days a week for 1 hour per ride. The individual is interested in watching TV while on the bike and indicated they don't want to use an app or need anything fancy. They do want something that's not a POS and said the budget is $1500 or less. I think Stages w/o the PM is probably hits this price point but I don't know anything about the quality of the stages bikes.

A friend asked me about the new Bowflex C6 bike but I don't know anything about it.
Here's one review I found.

My wife wanted to get riding so I put her bike on my Lemond Revolution and I picked up a BNIB Tacx handlebar tablet mount for cheap on Facebook marketplace.
Works well if you just wanna watch Netflix or some other streaming service. If your friend wants to go down the trainer path.

There are a host of used exercise bikes for sale on craigslist in your area.

The Tunturi ergometers were actually used for fitness testing of racing cyclists, back in the day, so they are a good bet.

I also see a LeMond Fitness RevMaster Pro. I used a copycat of that bike in L.A. Fitness spin classes. Smooth, quiet, easy to adjust and a very comfortable seat. The only drawback is the weight, if you need to move it.

Do NOT buy any of the bikes that use a fan for resistance such as THIS SCHWINN. They will be too noisy for watching TV.

Not a Peloton. This was mentioned and they don’t need/want the subscription that peloton seems to require.
