You'd think they're some hick southern band. But, you'd be wrong. They're from Cyprus. Band name has something to do with Hopi philosphy.

as an aside: this has to be one of my favorite songs, which I've come to lately. Wife hates it. So I play it discretely but on my big screen with speakers it takes over the house. And I play it too much.

So Ken Burns country music series is getting down near the end. And they suddenly decide to feature Townes. Wife and I are watching and I'm getting this big s*** eating grin. Then they play this video, or most of it. Yeah!

I love poetry and music and this has them both.

Just released a few weeks ago is Allman Brothers - Fillmore West - Live....its incredible....I think its better than Fillmore East. ...every song is a 10 minute Dwayne Allman jam.

Sorry he died so young. I really enjoyed his perspective on sounds, let alone music. He was also featured on the Song Exploder podcast, dissecting his theme for Arrival.
