Why he had the googles on the podium..good on him..like Lemond once said, make as much $ as you can as early as you can.

Pro athletes don’t chose what they wear on the podium. Sponsors do. You’ll never see a World Cup downhiller on the podium with DH skis, they hold GS skis because the logos fit in the camera frame.

i often see him in goggles, hes a weirdo, thats what i like about him, hes weirder than you are most likely. and approximately as weird as me

He wore them at Amgen last year. 100% was new and it got them a lot of hype. Cool people too.

He wears that brand because it's his optics sponsor. I can't remember the circumstances but he started pulling someone's leg and has worn them on several podiums since. It was in response to someone's comment at a race and he started having fun with them.
