Riding in the snow. Not exactly matching browns, but close enough for yrs truly.

FWIW I've found that every tire looks different after a rain ride. A well-used look for your tanwall tires is not necessarily a bad thing...

I am in favor of the tan walls. I think they generally look good on any solid color paint job/colorway.

I concur. I prefer tan walls as a general rule, but really like tan walls tinted with road detritus. Signs of use, signs of love and all that.

Here’s my Lynskey Sportive with recent brown Brooks saddle and leather bar tape additions. The next modification is the same dilemma as you have- black, brown, or tan walls. The recently acquired Zondas came with the pictured black wall tires. I think it will look good either way, but I’m definitely leaning towards brown walls to tie in the saddle and bar tape.

I wasn't aware that there was an option for Ti bikes other than tan sidewalls...

for the 13 years I've owned it, my Ti bike has never had anything but black tires. for the half-century I've been into bikes I have never been able to develop any appreciation for tanwalls.

same goes for white sidewalls on autos. I did like the redlines on my dad's dark green '69 GTO tho.
