That’s an interesting contrast after watching the Romain Bardet Scott build video. That Baum is much nicer. Oof.

great vid. learned a couple tricks in there, esp. the thin plastic wrap applied over the external bb cup when using a special socket. great idea. no scratches. and the hook tool for guiding the brake cable on an ee brake. slick.

Nice. The simple elegance of working on regular bikes.

Does anyone know what saddle that is??

Using calipers to measure the cable adjusters at 8'40" that's obsessive. I love it.

I'm just lubing my chain right now and feel like a complete and utter clutz compared to his fluid and precise movements.

You mean instead of routing a bunch of hydraulic cables through a stem with proprietary spacers which will be completely unobtainable when one cracks in five years?

Mechanic is Robert Gee at Above Category. Great wrench but don’t ask him to work on suspension.

Robert is a pleasure to work with.

The thing that interests me about this though is all the trouble the owner went through to retrofit a electronic shift bike to mechanical campy. I wonder if he is pleased with that decision, and why he did it. Not a trivial effort or expense to do this..
