Floyd Landis interview from "Outside" magazine

Figure some of you have already seen this, but it's certainly interesting, especially given today's performance:

Upper body??? Take a look at some of the footage of him from the back; man that's one "solid" butt! You could fit an entire ad slogan on the back side of his shorts!

in the first picture in the article he looks bigger every where. the tour footage does show that he's got a huge @ss.

In March I was in Santa Barbara and noticed a bunch of group rides and the bike of choice was the Time. I seemed to see em every where. I wonder if the BMC will be the machine for next year.

It's that fugly Phonak team kit. Those shorts would make anyone look like they have a huge @ss. Here's to hoping the iShares team kit doesn't look like a billbord for Subway sandwiches.

The phonak kit looks pretty good in B&W...I want a copy of the pic of him leaning on his bike...poster size thank you. (and I'm sure that's why it was shot that way...for advertising space...) Maxwell does a great job. Not a cycling photog, but them's some pretty pictures.

Yep.....you've got it covered. That's what it is all about. How you/me/we look in spandex.

I'm just glad that men don't just look at women's rear view with that in mind...this thread has proof they look at guys the same way.

Hey, I read the article too!

This is interesting

"Landis won the junior national mountain-biking championship at 17, in 1993, and moved to California two years later. When a curious coach measured his VO2 max (generally thought to be a decent indicator of endurance potential), Landis scored nearly 90 milliliters per kilogram per minute, almost two points better than five-time Tour winner Miguel Indurain."

Hey Ginger, tell it to the skipper. While he tells it to his 'lil buddy.

But seriously, Outside should get the Magazine Editors Prescience/Lotto Lucky Pick Annual Award for spotting this article in advance of the tour. Maybe he was the only American with a chance, but still he had no name presence like LA. And it was a great article too. And great photos!
