All-road/gravel handlebar feedback.
So I'm finally going to build up my first all-road bike and could use some advice/feeback on handlebar choices. I'm a fan of traditional bends and drops and have always favored 3T's choices. I currently have the 3T Superleggera Stealth and Team on both my road bikes. Looking at 3T's gravel bar, it doesn't have the bend and drop that I am used to. For those who've been riding gravel, are there any bars that come close to a traditional road handlebar's geometry?

Big fan of the Ritchey Evomax here. Nice round bend with a comfortable amount of flare.

I have been using the Enve Road compact bars on my all-road bike and they are just fine.
With that being said, I am waiting on UPS today for the new Enve AR bars to arrive. I'll report back when I can. |

+1 for 3t... been also using their ergonova versions as well, not as deep of a drop but the shape is solid.

Went through a few, and decided on the zipp xplor. Great bar! I posted for favorite gravel bar back in July I think and got a lot of options in that thread.

i use the Thomson KFC bars on my bikes that go all places.
believe they are just called "the carbon drop cyclocross bar" these days, but they do appear to have a flared version for gravel now too. |

I've been using the same bars on gravel that I use on my road bikes. Have never wanted to change to anything else.

I have been looking at the Enve AR bars as well. I am interested to hear what you think about them after a couple of rides!

I've been happy with my Salsa Cowbell bars on my first and only all-road bike build. It has standard curved road-like drops with a mild 12 degrees of flare at the ends.

I'm in a similar predicament as OP and am planning on getting the ENVE Road Compact Bar, if only for the reason that it has a standard round clamp area that I can attach my computer, GoPro lights, etc. too. I know Enve has a stem with a combo mount, but am not keen on shelling out for their stem. |

Same here. I pondered getting flared bars, stayed with my Ritchey road bars, and that's riding a lot of singletrack.

I use the Enve out front mount for my computer and my current favorite bar bag is the Rickshaw mini stretch which can hold a light on it.
I'm not sure if other computer mounts will work but can post some photos later today to show it off. Last edited by dbnm; 10-21-2020 at 01:20 PM. |

Been a big fan of the Easton EC70 AX bars, but I'm trying the new Enve G bars now and so far, so good. Liking the ovalized tops.
