ON Topic: Giro Aether vs Kask Protone

Giro is closing out their old Aether helmets. I'm seeing prices as low as $138 for what was a top-tier helmet. I Have an old Synthe and I have always liked the Giro fit but that Synthe was noticeably louder on fast descents than my semi-aero Kask Protone. Does anyone have experience with both of these helmets? Is the Aether louder than the Protone?
