Where is the post for that? Must be a few years old. Would love to see the photos, we had a fair amount of work into that and one of my favorite projects ever!

Peter why won't you ride it? We did build it for the Arts and Crafts show (NAHBS)but still it was made to ride

Makes me contemplative that I missed my annual CO trip in 2020. Hoping to get out this summers.

Fits into the category of "places on earth where I immediately feel happy walking in", right along with REI stores

And one of the best former-bike-shop owners you'd ever like to meet.

Not that I 'won't' ride it, just lots has gotten in the way. AND, as a premier Moots dealer, Jim proudly displays it in Vecchio's. But it's on my list, maybe after I shovel the 12 inches of snow we got last night.

Thanks Happycampyer for that flashback.

Peter you have gotten more than your fair share of snow on that side of the Divide, we are dry here in The Boat. One of these days when I am down there we should take a ride.

ravdg316, not lugged just semi wrap seatstay we did for this one. I machined and then hand filed the seat tube top and Ned the welder used a very deft touch to do a microweld to attach the seatstays to the cluster. Eric machined the Campagnolo and Moots into the plugs and I polished. Eric also machined the cable guides beautifully to look the part while Jim @Vecchios assembled the bike with great attention to detail including tied and soldered spokes.

Its not but yeah the seatstays design look like a lugged construction from a glance.
