Nice. Can't say in in 200k shape in March, but I'd be down to knock this one out over the summer/fall...

Covered Bridge (south/western PA)
One I discovered this past fall - superb. The climb up the other side is rugged. And then it turns to gravel. Just lovely. There are more in/around the area that I look forward to discovering.
(PS - 32c Graveling "slicks" + mid-reach VO Grand Cru = superb)/ m_b |

Lots of beautiful ones still in use in Oregon, but way fewer than in years gone. According to the Covered Bridge Society of Oregon:
"Oregon has the largest collection of covered bridges in the West and one of the largest in the nation.Other sources cite up to 60+ still in use. This is one of my favorites. The most unique one may be the "upside-down" covered bridge. This is a covered bridge (as recognized by the National Society for the Preservation of Covered Bridges), just with the roadway on the roof, which still "covers" the trusses. There are apparently only two with this design in the USA. |

It's unfortunate that the bridge remains damaged from Ida. Lower Creek Road, thats leads to bridge, sections that were washed away are now passable but dirt, the bridge itself is also ok.
