new custom italian restomod style advice needed

I am having a custom steel Daccordi built for a neo-retro disk brake road bike build, and want to use one of their classic 80's paint schemes. The candidates are attached. Do you guys vote blue, rainbow, or baby blue/pink??

Also....Campy EPS vs ETAP vs mechanical?? Committing to cables vs no cables is definitely the most annoying part of a new build (what a great problem to have though!).

If you're fast, go pink. If not, go with the more inconspicuous blue.

Blue, with Campy Mechanical Hydro. I got a chance to sqeeze the campy disc stuff at philly bike expo. Very drool worthy esp for an Italian retro mod.

Steel fork is a must IMHO!!!

I like option 1 or 2. #3 looks a little washed out to my old eyes. Can't wait to see the finished product!

I always loved that pink. And during May, well, it's the color to have.

The other 11 months I'd go blue. The rainbow looks too LeMondery.

The breakaway rider from Japan was rocking Campy SR EPS Disc on his DeRosa today, and the discussion about it on Eurosport was the most exciting thing about the stage until the finish.

If you go old-ish-school, non-hydro mechanical use TRP HyRd discs.

Rainbow, for sure, to distract from the clunky disc brakes. ;D

Blue is the most classic.

Rainbow-ish is the most 80s.

I would also vote for Campagnolo mechanical 12v as fitting the “theme”.

If not, EPS or EPS.

Pink!

Have fun, sounds like a great project.

If it helps at all for some visual ideas, search for my "resto-mod" thread on a Poghliaghi in the production bikes subforum.
